The Banshee (Japanese: バンシー, Banshee) is a Wood attribute creature and a Weapon type card introduced in Lost Kingdoms.

Banshees can be found as rare enemies in four places at the Burial Grounds. The first is by the tombstone of Ermwahl the White, the second is by the mound of dirt before the tombstone of the Explorer King Beria, the third is in the area before the gate leading to Lord Unther, and the fourth is on the path to the tombstone of Dain/Dane the Red.

Appearance[]

The Banshee appears to be a woman whose arms are bound from the elbows up, though the model in the games suggests these are not actually bindings.

The eyes of the Banshee are always covered by a veil and it possess a ghostly tail instead of legs.

Strategies[]

As a Card[]

The Banshee is one of the easiest Weapon cards to use and the most effective for most of the game. It's attack can pierce any defense and has a massive range. In addition the Banshee takes little time to appear then attack, with some of the damage taken be given to the player as Experience.

The only downside to the Banshee is that it is only good for two uses and it's attacks are narrow, meaning they can be unreliable against enemies like Steel Skeletons that have a sideways dodge move.

As a Monster[]

As an enemy monster, Banshees are quite rare and only appear in the Burial Grounds. Their attacks are still deadly and they move surprisingly fast for a long-range monster. Caution is advised.

As a Card[]

When a creature is killed with Banshee, the player is rewarded with double the amount of experience normally granted. This effect stacks with Lucky Lion's effect.

For example, when killing Demon Swordsman with Banshee while Lucky Lion is within range, the player is granted 10,800 experience to themselves and each copy of every card in their deck. (e.g., having 2 Banshee cards in the deck will grant 21,600 experience for Banshee.)
